GLOCK Watches
GLOCK's watch collection offers several case identities under the GW naming system. GW-34, GW-38 and GW-42 make useful designs to compare side by side.
The Sensei take
A direct name. A considered choice of scale.
The appeal should come from the watch itself: the amount of dial, the case outline and the way its markers establish the face. Give each reference a separate look before settling on the one that first caught your attention. A recognisable name can get you to the page; the proportions and details are what make a particular watch worth keeping in view.
What we love
A recognisable name is an opening, but the watches still have to work as objects. What we like about approaching Glock this way is the focus it puts on the case, markers and amount of dial. The most satisfying reference will be the one whose design remains appealing beyond the association.
Who are these watches for?
For someone with an existing interest in the name who also has a clear idea of the watch they want to wear. We would explore the collection through its individual faces and proportions, giving the watch itself the final say. The personal connection can then add meaning to a design you already enjoy.
Where we would start
Our approach is to compare complete photographs before choosing a reference. Look for the arrangement of case and face that suits your everyday style, then follow that specific model.
Make the reference the reason
We would open GW-34-2-24, GW-38-2-22 and GW-42-2-24 as separate candidates, keeping the complete photographs in view. The useful question is which face and surrounding shape you actually prefer. A shared name does not make the designs interchangeable, and a personal association is more satisfying when it accompanies a watch you enjoy independently. Give the hands, markers and case equal attention, then follow the exact reference whose whole appearance makes sense for your everyday style.
GW-34-2-24
This is one of the three Glock references we would include in the initial visual comparison. Keep its full photograph beside GW-38-2-22 and GW-42-2-24, looking at the face and surrounding outline together. The useful outcome is a preference for a particular watch, with the name adding the personal connection.
A taste of GLOCK Watches
The watches that make the case.

GW-38-2-22
GW-38-2-22 combines a blue chronograph dial with a steel bracelet and a strongly ridged bezel. The yellow central hand adds a small, sharp contrast to an otherwise cool palette.

GW-42-2-24
GW-42-2-24 takes the dark case, dark dial and black strap route. The pale hands and registers do the visual work; the result is the more subdued alternative to GLOCK’s bright strap combinations.
