Brand Atlas
Lucky Harvey's whole premise is democratizing automata watchmaking — the rare, moving-scene mechanical art historically guarded by a handful of legacy Swiss maisons, with pieces locked behind six-figure price tags accessible only to a few. The brand pairs that with distinctly Chinese cultural motifs (dragons, lion dance, zodiac animals) and a self-described "fun watches" ethos, prioritizing playful mechanical storytelling over horological solemnity.
Lucky Harvey is a Chinese independent watchmaking brand founded in 2021 in Guangzhou, specializing in automaton and chiming watches with Chinese cultural themes (dragon, snake, lion dance, zodiac animals) alongside a casino-inspired "Player Series" (roulette, poker, sic bo dials). The brand develops its own in-house movements (LH series) and has won design recognition including MUSE Design Awards and IDA International Design Awards. It maintains retail presence in Singapore, Malaysia, and France, plus an India distribution partnership.

Founded in 2021 by Mr. Lin Xiaolin, who had long worked in watch manufacturing and wanted to create a "presentable" Chinese watch brand at a time when few Chinese brands had earned global recognition despite the country's manufacturing reputation. The brand name itself came from a personal moment — choosing a birthday gift for his son Harvey, wanting to give him something imbued with luck and happiness. The first watch, the Orange Tiger, launched in December 2021 to mark the Chinese Year of the Tiger, limited to 300 pieces and selling out immediately on release.
