Monomods is a UK-based (London) custom-watch-modding brand, officially launched in 2025 after five years as a hobby project. They build made-to-order watches on Seiko-based Japanese movements, styled to evoke well-known luxury references — collection names like GMTEIKO, HUBLEIKO, PANEIKO, and NAUTIKO signal the design lineage directly. Watches run roughly $380–$540, backed by a 2-year warranty and 30-day returns.

The story
Monomods began in 2020 as a personal modding hobby, born from a fascination with mechanical watches and frustration with the lack of originality in mainstream timepieces, before evolving into a full brand officially launched in 2025. The London-based operation grew out of the broader Seiko-modding community, where individual watchmakers customize affordable Seiko movements/cases into designs that echo higher-end luxury silhouettes.
