Brand Atlas
Monro Adventure is built around "designed in-house" affordable travel watches — GMT and dive-oriented pieces meant for real use rather than shelf display. Drawing inspiration from the rapid rise of British brands like Christopher Ward, Monro Adventure aims to carve its own path as a recognized brand with a distinct identity.
Monro Adventure is a British microbrand founded by industry veterans Matt O'Neill and Ryan Ould, launched via Kickstarter in 2023 after operating as a watch-design consultancy (Monro Design Studio Ltd) since 2020. Collections include Monro Adventure (GMT/dive), Ocean Adventure, Urban Adventure, and the newer Luna Adventure line, built on Seiko movements (e.g. NH34A GMT) with sapphire crystal. They're members of The Alliance of British Watch & Clock Makers, with pricing roughly £239–£649.

Founded by Matt O'Neill and Ryan Ould, two industry professionals and friends who worked together for over a decade at an established Swiss/British brand, sitting at the heart of watch design and development — presenting new products at Baselworld and traveling to manufacturing partners worldwide. They established Monro Design Studio Ltd as a consultancy during the pandemic, offering design-to-manufacture services for brands wanting to add a watch category, which gave them the foundation to finally launch their own collection. Their first concept, born from their own adventures and years in the industry, was an affordable travel watch, successfully crowdfunded through Kickstarter in September 2023.
