Brand Atlas
Montera blends structured British craftsmanship with relaxed Southern European character, drawing on Mediterranean colour palettes and textures — sunlit stone, deep coastal blues, natural greens — translated into sculpted, textured dials. The design focus is proportion, legibility, and materials that age well, aiming for pieces that feel relevant today and years from now rather than trend-driven design
Montera Watches is a UK microbrand founded in December 2025 by two Sheffield Hallam University students, producing Mediterranean-inspired automatic watches with textured dials and sapphire crystal. Collections include the Estria line and the GMT Bluewater collection, priced roughly £240–£330, with each watch shipping with a presentation box and extra strap.

Founded by Sachin Velmurugan and Noah Wilson, two 20-year-old business and marketing students at Sheffield Hallam University. The idea began in the university library in December 2025, when the pair — both studying full-time and working part-time jobs — found themselves scrolling through watches they couldn't afford, frustrated that everything either cost too much or wasn't worth the money. That frustration, paired with their business and marketing studies, is what set the brand in motion.
