Each dial is finished in synthetic enamel by BERLAC, a prestigious Swiss house specialising in watch enamels. Once the dial is finished, the enamel is spray-gun applied, in up to ten fine layers until the whole dial is covered. The final finish is set in an oven at 140°C. It sits under a pair of polished dauphine hands — the pointed, faceted style watchmakers preferred long before batons and arrows became the standard — chosen here because an enamelled dial deserves hands that reflect the light the same way the surface does.
