A tribute to perhaps the storied legacy of an elite and brave unit of Lancaster Bombers and their pilots. As part of the Allied bombing campaign, the Dambusters were immortalized for their daring raids on the Dams of the Ruhr valley. This timepiece features a large open case design that offers a clear vintage pilot watch shape replete with bold Arabic numbers on the dial, and gauge-like hands that hint at cockpit displays of the Lancaster. Subtle details such as the squadron reference on the left side of the dial, and the bubble-like date magnifier–sitting at the 6 o’clock position to reference the clear gun turrets on the Lancaster that served as essential defence mechanisms during their strategic bombing missions.
